Impression of Absolu Aventus starts off similar to Aventus with tones of fresh and peppy bergamot and juicy blackcurrant. The trademark pineapple that people claim is in it, is also missing from the opening. The grapefruit isn't sour or bitter, and comes off similar to a grapefruit rind that was just scooped.
